Terms & Refund Policy

This page explains how paying for Shabdha Mitra works: what Mitra Power is, when you are charged, and where we stand on refunds. We have written it the way we would explain it to you in person.

What Mitra Power is

Mitra Power (MP) is the prepaid credit you spend inside Shabdha Mitra. 1 MP = ₹1, always in whole numbers. You top up once and spend it on questions whenever you like.

Mitra Power is a usage credit, not money:

Your Mitra Power never expires. Once it is in your account, it stays there until you spend it.

If you delete your account, any unspent Mitra Power is forfeited. We will show you your remaining balance before you confirm deletion, so you can use it first if you wish.

What a question costs — and when you are charged

A question costs 25 MP.

Our charge promise: you are charged only when we deliver a complete, quality-checked reading. Not before, and not otherwise.

You are never charged when:

If what you received was not a full, honest reading, you did not pay for it. That is the rule the whole product runs on.

Buying Mitra Power

Packs. There are seven prepaid packs, from ₹25 up to ₹2,500. Each pack shows exactly how much Mitra Power it delivers before you pay. At the top end, the ₹2,500 pack delivers 5,000 MP — double the money you put in. If you are unsure, start with the ₹25 pack and see how a reading feels.

Payment. Payments are processed by Razorpay. You can pay by UPI, card, or netbanking. All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹).

You need an account to buy. We refuse guest purchases on purpose: a guest session can be lost, and we never want money you paid to vanish with it. Create an account first — it comes with a welcome bonus (see “Free Mitra Power” below) — then buy.

When the credit arrives. Mitra Power is added to your balance only after the payment gateway confirms your payment. If your payment succeeded but the Mitra Power has not appeared within a few minutes, contact support (below). That is exactly the kind of problem we always make right.

Prices can change, and we don't promise advance notice — but a price change never affects Mitra Power that is already in your wallet. What you have already bought is yours at the value you bought it; a new price applies only to new purchases.

Refunds

The straight answer: we don't refund readings, and we always fix broken payments.

Purchases are final. When you buy Mitra Power, that purchase is final — we do not offer refunds, and Mitra Power cannot be converted back into cash. Please buy only what you are comfortable spending; the ₹25 pack exists so you can try a reading before committing more.

Broken payments are on us, and we fix them — every time. If money left your account but the Mitra Power never arrived, or you were charged twice for one purchase, that is not a “no refunds” situation — that is a broken payment, and we will put it right. Write to us (Support, below) with the payment details and we will sort it out.

And remember the charge promise above: you are only ever charged for complete readings in the first place. A refused, failed, or inconclusive reading never took your Mitra Power — so there is nothing there to refund.

Free Mitra Power

What this service is — and is not

Shabdha Mitra's praśna offering works like this: you ask a question, a KP horary chart is cast for the moment of asking, and you receive a verdict and a reading. We tell you what the chart supports — including “Inconclusive” or “Cannot judge” when that is the honest answer. As above, an inconclusive answer costs you nothing.

What it is: guidance and insight — a considered perspective to weigh alongside your own judgment.

What it is not: a substitute for professional advice. For medical, legal, or financial matters, please consult a qualified professional. Do not delay or replace professional care because of a reading.

You must be 18 or older to buy Mitra Power.

Support

Write to us about anything on this page — especially “I paid but the Mitra Power didn't arrive” or “I was charged twice.” Those are the ones we always make right.
